I recently completed my Erasmus exchange program in Finland, where I studied Computer Science at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. The period was from 1/08/2022 to 8/01/2023, and it was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
I loved it 😉
One of the best things about my Erasmus was the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. I made friends from Taiwan, France, Japan, South Korea, Poland, Turkey, Spain, Mexico, and many other countries. It was amazing to learn about different cultures and points of view. I am still in contact with many of my Erasmus friends, and I am grateful for the smart and diverse network of friends that I have built and how we have collaborate in order to complete different tasks during the classes.
Another thing that I loved about Erasmus was the opportunity to study in a different country. Finland is a beautiful country with a rich culture. I enjoyed exploring the country and learning about its history and traditions. I also enjoyed attending classes at Metropolia, which is a highly ranked university.
I grew up so much professionally!
My Erasmus experience helped me to grow both personally and professionally. I learned to be more independent and to adapt to new situations. I also learned a lot about Computer Science and how to collaborate with different cultures. I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated in the Erasmus program, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering it.
