Deliverable: structure, design and features decision of the app

Communicating with stakeholders

One of the most important aspects of my job as team leader was communicating with stakeholders. I had to keep the CEO and other executives informed of the project’s progress and discuss the feasibility of the application’s features. It was important to me to be transparent and honest with stakeholders, and to manage their expectations effectively.

I also had to be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. This required me to have a deep understanding of the project’s technical architecture and to be able to communicate that understanding in a way that was easy for everyone to understand.

I believe that my ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders was one of the key factors in the success of this project. By keeping stakeholders informed and engaged, I was able to ensure that the project stayed on track and that the final product met the needs of all stakeholders. even though I wasn’t there for the second part of the developing of the app, I learned a lot and I’m grateful of it.

By the end of my contract, the team I led was able to finish the structure, graphics and some features of the application. The application was then passed on to the senior team for more advanced topics such as the use of bluetooth beacon technology for proximity measuring.

My job experience as team leader and developer for a proximity advertising application at Printedita in Verona

I recently had the opportunity to work as a team leader and developer for a proximity advertising application project at Printedita in Verona, Italy. The company’s senior developer decided to use a framework called Outsystems, which allows for rapid application development using a minimum amount of code.

During my time at Printedita, I was responsible for leading a team of designers and ensuring that the project was completed on time and within budget. I also worked closely with the company’s stakeholders, including the CEO and other executives, to discuss the development and feasibility of the application’s features.

One of the challenges of this project was developing a proximity advertising application that was both innovative and effective. Proximity advertising is a type of advertising that targets users based on their physical location. This type of advertising is becoming increasingly popular as mobile devices become more sophisticated and location-based services become more widely used.

Our team at Printedita was able to develop the structure, looking and some features of the proximity advertising application that was innovative in tis field of application. I used Outsystems that is a low-code/no-code platform that allows developers to build and deploy applications quickly and easily.

Conclusion

My job experience at Printedita was a valuable learning experience. I gained a deep understanding of the proximity advertising industry and the challenges of deploying proximity advertising applications. I also learned how to effectively lead a team and communicate with stakeholders both technical and not technical.

I hope that the app will be rolled out one day!

I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked on this project and I am confident that the skills I gained will be valuable to me in my future career.
