After winning a competition about telecommunication technologies in 2015, I had the incredible award to attend the Telecom Summer Camp in Rome, Italy.
To be eligible for the camp, all students from the top 20 telecommunications schools in Italy were required to take an exam that assessed their knowledge of telecommunications. I was honored to be the top performer from my school and was selected to attend the camp along with the other 19 students from across Italy.
The Telecom Summer Camp was a week-long program that focused on the latest trends, innovation and developments in telecommunications. We learned about everything from 5G to artificial intelligence to the future of work.

Here are some of the things that I learned at the Telecom Summer Camp:
- The importance of teamwork in software development.
- The importance of communication with clients and stakeholders.
- The importance of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
- The importance of being creative and innovative in problem-solving.
One of the highlights of the camp was the project we worked on with Telecom tutors. We developed an app that controlled a scaled model of an automated house. The app allowed us to turn on and off lights, adjust the temperature, and control other smart devices in the house.
I was elected team leader, and as such, I was in charge of keeping track of the app’s progress and ensuring that we met the deadlines.
We presented our app to a panel of judges at the end of the week, and we were thrilled to learn that we had won first place. Our app was praised for its innovative design and its potential to make people’s lives easier.
My team wasn’t in lack of sense of humor

but he had a lot of fun! 😀

Winning a scholarship to the Telecom Summer Camp was a huge honor. It was an amazing experience to learn from some of the brightest minds in the telecommunications industry and to work on a cutting-edge project . I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated in the camp, and I am excited to see what the future holds for me in the telecommunications field.
I am especially proud of the fact that our app was a success. It was a challenging project, but we were able to work together and create something that was both innovative and useful. I am confident that our app has the potential to make a positive impact on the world, and I am excited to see how it is used in the future.
I would like to thank Telecom for hosting the Summer Camp and for awarding me a scholarship. It was an unforgettable experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I am also grateful to my fellow campers and to our tutors for their help and support. I could not have done it without them.
